Smoking is still the biggest single cause of early death in the UK.

Schools can have an important and influential role in encouraging young people not to smoke and there are a range of free resources on this website to support work done in school in this area.

• Year 7 - QUIT because, assemblies
• Year 8 - ASSIST, Peer mentor training on "The benefits of being smoke free", schools are selected to take part in this training.
• Year 9 - "The Toxic Truth" training pack. Teaching pack with cross curricular links that looks at; the tobacco industry, illicit sales, tobacco marketing etc
• Year 10 - 6th Sense Tobacco workshops
