Bystander Intervention Training - free for Swindon schools

Date: 8 Nov 2023

Research shows that bystander intervention can be an effective way of stopping sexual assault before it happens, as bystanders play a key role in preventing, discouraging, and/or intervening when an act of violence has the potential to occur.

Safer Streets has commissioned Emailogic to deliver Bystander Intervention Training to young people within schools. The sessions are being aimed at Year 7-9s and there are 19 available 45min-1hr sessions FREE to schools and young people across the Borough.

- Number of young people per session: optimal 30, maximum 100.
