Child Safety Week 2010 - Make Time for Safety

21-27 June 2010

Injuries from serious childhood accidents can take months or years to heal, yet many of them take just a moment to prevent.  Join us and thousands of other childcare, early years, health, education, safety, police and fire colleagues throughout the UK in preventing serious accidents happening to the children you work with.  The theme for Child Safety Week 2010 is 'make time for safety'

The date is 21-27 June - put it in your diary now! To help you make time for safety locally we are offering you a free Child Safety Week toolkit packed full of:

·         tips for planning your activity

·         the biggest hazards and tips on what to do about them

·         quizzes and competitions to help parents and families learn about preventing accidents whilst having fun.

Don’t miss out on yours - make sure you confirm your interest and update your details.  We will email you the CAPT database registration form next week.  We need you to check your details, let us know if they've changed, confirm your interest or ask to be deleted from the database.  If you have colleagues or potential partners who would like to receive a free Child Safety Week toolkit they can sign up to the CAPT database by visiting the ‘join our mailing list’ page of our website www.childsafetyweek.org.uk.
