Citizencard

Young people these days are routinely asked to prove their age when shopping, going to theme parks, cinemas etc, or when travelling by bus or rail. Some carry their passports or photo driving licences, but these are easily damaged and expensive to replace if lost. Police, Trading Standards and Retail Organisations recommend that PASS accredited Proof of Age cards should be carried as an alternative. They’re durable and can be replaced much more cheaply.

CitizenCard is the UK’s largest supplier of Proof of Age cards. We will be pleased to offer free of charge cards (normally £15.00) to any student in a school, college or university campus provided that we have a member of staff on site who will be our Authorised Verifier.

Cardholders, as well as using their cards as Proof of Age, will be able to access the Lealta Discount Scheme, potentially making significant savings at a wide range of retail stores across the UK. Further details are available on www.lealta.com

The PASS hologram on a CitizenCard is a guarantee to any trader that the card has been carefully checked and can be trusted. Whilst there are plenty of fake ID cards on the market, there are no fake PASS cards.

If you would like your students to benefit from this offer of free cards, please e-mail Tom Perry, CitizenCard’s Student Services Manager. His e-mail address is: tperry@citizencard.com.

This offer lasts until 31st December 2012, when we will be introducing two new CitizenCards – the ‘Classic’ and the Visa Prepaid CitizenCard. There will be a student charge of £5.00 for these cards.
