Free PSHE Support to Schools
I am contacting you to let you know about free support for PSHE centred around the EWB & FC strand (although there is some overlap with the PWB aspects). This support comes through both the PSHE Association and pfeg (personal finance education group) and bearing in mind the current government desire for cuts, is highly likely only to be available until March.
It can typically be a half day or day of my time for a primary or secondary schools, and even up to 3 days for secondary (including special schools) school. My time includes planning and follow-up work so it does not require a teacher to commit to be with me for the equivalent time. I can visit schools and also work remotely. I can also support training days or workshops for individual or groups of schools. The support is bespoke to the individual school of LA needs. Schools can also access a wealth of resources if required. If I meet with a school in your area I will provide you with a feedback.
I would be really grateful if you could undertake one or more of the following:
- Pass this message onto schools in your area who can directly contact me.
- Identify specific schools you feel may benefit from my support along with a contact name and email and a brief sentence why (e.g. new PSHE co-ordinator)
- Be able to meet with me to discuss how best I can support your needs and also meet the targets of the funding organisations.
I also have £500 available for one primary or secondary school to write a case study on how it delivers financial capability.
