Global Children’s Challenge™
Many of the UK’s Healthy Schools’ Co-ordinators have done an amazing job promoting the event to the primary schools in their region which we are truly grateful for. Because of their support, thousands of children in the UK will be taking part in this wonderful FREE initiative which will hopefully give them the tools they need to live a healthier and happier life both now and in the future.
The closing date for applications is the 15th September 2010 and there are still some places available. If you haven’t yet got all of your schools involved there is still time for them to apply.
A quick overview of the Global Children’s Challenge™:
- 100,000 primary school children from over 80 countries worldwide will take part.
- Children in years 4, 5 & 6 are eligible to participate.
- A 50 day challenge.
- September 29th – November 17th, 2010.
- Classes participate as one team.
- Each child receives their own pedometer to measure their step count.
- Completely free of charge.
