Last Order Alcohol Project - 2010
All Year 9 pupils in Swindon will be receiving the Last Orders Alcohol project in October 2010. The pupils will watch a play performed by Solomon Theatre that shows the effects on three young people's lives of binge-drinking. In a "Jermey Kyle-style" follow-up workshop the audience then gets to comment on what they have seen and ask the characters what the consequences have been. A Churchfields pupil said "The play was really good and we got to ask the characters anything we wanted to know. It showed us what could happen if teenagers drink too much - we learned how alcohol can be used responsibly. " Now in it's third year, Last Orders is funded by Swindon Healthy Schools team to tour all secondary schools.
