Resource and Information Requirements for Teachers Delivering Sex and Relationships Education (SRE)

The Health Protection Agency is undertaking a national research project to establish the information and resource requirements of teachers delivering Sex and Relationships Education at key stages 3 & 4 and we would like to invite you to participate in it. Your thoughts are very valuable in ensuring that future SRE resource and information developments best reflect the needs of teachers in a variety of educational settings.

Taking part would mean filling in the attached short questionnaire and returning it to the following FREEPOST address: Ellie Ricketts, Primary Care Unit, Microbiology Department, Health Protection Agency, FREEPOST NAT 13026, Gloucestershire GL1 3BR or Ellie.Ricketts@hpa.org.uk

The information you provide is completely confidential and neither you nor your school will be identifiable in any way. The results will be used to shape future SRE resource and information developments for teachers in England.

Please complete the questionnaire and then return it to me by Friday 18th December 2009 using the FREEPOST or email address (Ellie.Ricketts@hpa.org.uk).

If you have colleagues in your school who are also involved in delivering SRE please pass them a questionnaire as the more teachers we hear from the better.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me on 01803 861833 or email me ellie.ricketts@hpa.org.uk

Thank you very much for participating - your response is greatly valued.

Yours Sincerely
Ellie Ricketts
