Swindon Anti-Bullying Celebration Event - 2011
The 7th Annual Anti-Bullying Celebration Event was a great success. We had performances from more schools than ever before. The performances were of an excellent standard and there was a huge variety on how schools portrayed anti-bullying messages.
We were particularly pleased to welcome two special schools to the event and feedback about the event has been very positive.
A further 4 schools were awarded the Good Practice award for their anti-bullying work and many others are in the process of completing their award that provides a formal structure for their anti-bullying work.
There was a huge response to the Anti-Bullying Competition making it harder than ever to select winners from the many high quality of entries. Swindon Borough Council, Chief Executive, Gavin Jones, as chair of the judging panel was given the almost impossible task of selecting the winner!
