CAPT - 05.11.10

Date: 3 Nov 2010

It’s nearly bonfire night – around the time that hundreds of children and young people attend A&E following burns, and other accidents around the bonfire.

We thought it would be a great opportunity to show you our updated safety advice, so that you can help parents and children stay safe as winter draws in.

CAPT’s new website, launched in October, is designed to give you all you need to discuss accident risks with parents and children.

Packed with advice, resources, activities and quizzes, the new website will give you the facts on childhood accidents, and how you can help to prevent them.

You can download activities for children, view the latest news on child safety, get information on child safety events, and print out fact sheets with the latest guidance on preventing childhood accidents.

We’ve also added an online shop, so you can buy our colourful, engaging child safety resources quickly and easily online.

If you’d like to find out more about what we do, and the impact of our work, have a look in the case studies section.
