Food for Life Awards offer to Swindon primary schools

Food For Life (FFL) supports schools to make sure all children get the best possible start on their food journey. A start that will transform their life chances.
The recipe is simple: Your school will get growing, cooking, and connected with a real farm. When children know where food comes from, they choose to eat it.
The benefits include:

Schools complete a series of small steps and tell FFL about them. Your school gets its own portal when you enrol, and it’s really user-friendly. Because each of these steps has resources to support them you’ll have everything you need to make the awards achievable and fun within your existing lesson time. The FFL team are always on hand to help. You’ll show you’re meeting the requirements for healthy eating section of the Swindon’s Healthy Schools award, and achieve a nationally recognised award with a certificate from the Soil Association.
The cost of the award is £199 for the first year, then £159 per year after that (+VAT). If four or more Swindon schools sign up, Food for Life will provide additional group support and enable Swindon schools to collaborate at no additional cost.
