Youth Voice Referrals

Voluntary Action Swindon in partnership with Prime, SMASH and Mind are now accepting referrals for Swindon Youth Voice.
Swindon Youth Voice is a safe space designed for young people to:
- Develop their confidence and Skills
- Gain support
- Have fun and express creativity
- Feel open to speaking about the things which matter e.g. personal, home and social life
The following events will be facilitated by the Swindon Youth Voice programme:
Weekly Workshops-Free workshops run by Prime Theatre and SMASH for 11-17 and 18-25 year olds.
Youth Forum-The option of attending monthly meetings, to talk about youth voice and getting your message out there.
Well-being sessions-Chaired by Mind, these sessions aim to support participants in building confidence and self-esteem.
There will also be an opportunity for young people to meet with local leaders and voice any matters they feel relevant to share such as:
- The setting up of community projects/activities
- Worries or concerns
- Areas of development which could improve the lives of the young population of Swindon
